Apologize to our allies and reform the intelligence community. The NSA has gone too far.

Created by A.N. on October 28, 2013

The NSA has spied on our own citizens and our closest allies' citizens and leaders. Even to go as far as tapping the cellphone of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. (ABC News) This is embarrassing and makes the US look awful. Not only do we spy our own citizens without cause just because the unregulated power is there but now every time an allied leader visits they have to wonder if they are being welcomed as a friend or having their phone unjustly tapped. This isn't the cold war era, there is no need for this rampant spy game we are playing, there is however a need for intelligence gathering but the NSA seems to be doing more harm than good. Especially since most statements from senators and the President seem to imply that nobody knows exactly until the NSA does -- until it leaks.
