Apologize unequivocally to the Polish people for the US governments role in covering up the genocide in Katyn.

Created by S.T. on September 11, 2012

According to recently declassified documents and photographs acquired from the National Archives, the US government participated in a cover up of the Soviet Secret Police's massacre of approximately 22,000 Polish nationals in the Katyn forest and other areas in April and May of 1940. This massacre of prisoners included about 9,000 military officers, 6,000 police officers, and 7,000 members of the Polish intelligentsia.

We call upon the President to apologize unequivocally for the US government's role in covering up this massacre and to provide restitution in the form of long overdue US visa waivers for the people of Poland. These waivers are long overdue to one of our staunchest allies.
