Perform a search string for "ACA High Deductible". News articles over the past two years cite many families and individuals are strapped by ridiculously high deductibles for their ACA health insurance.
Anyone burdened by an unrealistic deductible will reconsider or opt out of a doctor visit (when they really shouldn't) or decline procedures/tests for pre-existing health concerns. They can't afford it.
Are the health insurance companies holding individuals and families within a certain income bracket hostage? Why isn't Congress concerned that some families and individuals feel they aren't getting a competitive health plan choice even at the lowest plan choice?
A message to Congress: repealing ACA is not a solution. Please attempt to address this problem and implement a solution.
