appeal to the Supreme Court in regards to their review of the Voting Rights Act.

Created by J.S. on March 05, 2013

In reviewing the continued need for the Voting Rights Act, I'd like to ask members of the Supreme Court to consider the YouTube video of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" (http://youtu.be/ph0aELhsQoc). As additional evidence, I'd like to ask they consider James Brown's "Living in America" (http://youtu.be/NukoYEIFDJw).

While I understand these songs will likely have no impression on the Supreme Court's grand dragon, Antonin Scalia, it's remotely possible they may touch some remote shred of decency and humanity in the living corpse that is Clarence Thomas.

I realize that Thomas is just a house slave on the white man's plantation, who feels no sympathy when his brother, a field slave, is being beaten with a bull whip. Well, this angry old white man is calling you out, boy.
