Sexual violence is a weapon used against men & boys in war-torn regions around the globe. While the UN has passed Security Council Resolution 1325, which recognizes the special needs of women & girls for rehabilitation & post-conflict reconstruction, sexual violence against men and boys has not been formally recognized, due a lack of reporting & understanding of this highly taboo issue. Thus, male victims of sexual violence are unable to find medical, psychological, & social support to help them overcome their trauma.

We ask President Obama and his administration to appeal to the UN to recognize sexual violence against men & boys towards the funding & development of support services for these neglected victims.
