This issue directly impacts how I, and others confined to life without an automobile are able to live, work, perform routine activities (like shopping for groceries, transporting our children and pets, etc.) I am primarily concerned about the lack of public transportation alternatives comparable in efficiency to driving because many of our current choices of alternative transportation are either too costly, inefficient, or confine us to urban areas or to certain areas of the country, thus limiting our choices of where to live, work, and raise our families. I believe it is an important issue, and would like to see our government work to insure that all Americans are given equal access to opportunities in the same spirit of faith, hard work, and hospitality that has made our country strong
