Apply a consistent approach across prohibition and control of substances citizens choose to put in their own body.

Created by J.B. on October 31, 2011

For years, the government has continued to claim that legalizing marijuana would be detrimental due to the issues that it causes with the health of individuals. However, these excuses are hollow and do not reflect a consistent message when compared against the more common and far more dangerous drugs, namely Alcohol and Tobacco.

We the people would like an answer to the question of why the government continues to claim a need to "Protect" us from the dangers of marijuana, while simultaneously allowing us free access to these far more dangerous substances.

The message is inconsistent, and gives the impression that this policy is NOT targeted towards the drug itself, but rather provides the government the ability to arrest subsets of the population with far more frequency than expected.
