Currently in the united states, the federal wage is not applied to immigrants working in some agricultural fields. This is due to the lack of help the immigrants have when discussing their salary when working in agriculture. Because of this injustice towards immigrants, in many cases young children are forced to work with their parents. This takes away from school and the education that is necessary to make a living in the United States. These children are being taken advantage of not by the parents, but by the government. If the federal minimum wage was legally enforced on farms and work camps, then the parents would not have to force their children to work.
