As all citizens of the United States are equal, we should no longer allow Federal agents or the military to have civil liberties not granted to the citizens. I propose, observing the very nature of the second amendment, that President Obama be protected by Secret Service agents armed with weapons consistent with permissible civilian ownership in NY.
As the second amendment's nature is to provide a check against tyranny and allow for defense of one's life, liberty, and property. President Obama should do his fair share to show he has no rights afforded to the citizens; he must require Secret Service to follow NY law. His life is no more valuable than private citizens. If NY residents "need no more than seven rounds" for defense, neither does the president.
