Apply the same taxes to churches as are applied to secular charities.

Created by M.B. on April 02, 2012

This country was founded as a secular country. Our Constitution is unique in that it specifically prohibits any government endorsement of religion.

Yet, today we see countless endorsements of religion by the government. Whether it be on our money, in our pledge of allegiance, or in our tax policies, religious organizations are allowed to commit egregious injustices in the name of freedom of expression.

We the people are tired of the government giving tax breaks to multi-millionaire pastors. We call for the government to tax religious organizations in the same manner secular charities and non-profits are taxed.
