Apply the standards codified in the Fairness Doctrine to publicly accessed internet platforms.

Whereas:
Those persons controlling internet platforms reaching millions of people daily could reasonably be considered Servants of the Public’s Trust, and given the existing protocol for said internet services; adhering to the principles upheld in Red Lion Broadcasting Co. v. FCC, (1969) would result in negligible to no cost for the effected providers.
Therefore:
We call upon President Obama to apply his expertise as a Constitutional Scholar to adapting the essential elements of the Fairness Doctrine to today’s internet platforms and persuade his allies in the House and Senate to introduce and pass such legislation for his signature.
