apply term limits to all seats in the U.S. Congress to match the two terms limit applied to the President of the U.S.A.

Created by C.R. on November 13, 2012

Please allow Citizens of the U.S.A. to vote on setting a limit to the number of terms any Congressmen/women can serve. We no longer need career politicians that care more about getting re-elected than doing the work of the people. I suggest that we limit Senators to two 6 year terms and Members of the House to three 4 year term, to be served in consecutive or non-consecutive terms. Twelve years in each branch of the Congress, a total of 24 years of service in Congress, is more than enought time for any one person to get the poeples work done. This will limit the waste of money on elections, but more importantly eliminate the life long corruption that career politicians have brought to our government. This will also stop career politicians from standing in the way of progress and growth.
