Apply the X-rating to movies and television programs that depict gun violence

In the interest of public safety, there should be a complete overhaul of the movie and TV program ratings. Programs containing "gun play" of any kind resulting in the death or injury of a person, be it from police, military, or criminals, should be given an X rating. This is an effort to curb firearm violence, in which EVERYONE in the nation will have to sacrifice...unlike other proposed legislation which singles out a particular group of hobbyist. It's very easy to pass laws which do not affect you. This way, we all share the burden. The programs will not be banned, therefore it doesn't violate the first amendment. Access will just be a bit more difficult and there will be fewer programs in circulation. This is the exact same argument gun control pundits use only everyone shares this
