-We want to have at least one armed security officer at every school, who's background is heavily checked, and mental health reviewed on a monthly basis.
-We want at least two security officers (unarmed or armed, preferably armed) that meet the same criteria as the above stated armed guard to watch and monitor survellience equipment
-We want these gaurds and all other school personnel, including teachers and aides to be trained in anti terrorism strategies in order to deter and prevent another tragedy.
-We want metal detectors and a baggage check at every school main entrance to prevent weapons from being brought to school
Other than the metal detectors and baggage check (as that obviously requires large amounts of funds), this is a VERY simple solution to a growing problem.
