The National Cancer Advisory Board serves as the National Cancer Institute's advisory council which helps set the strategic direction for the agency. The current membership does not include a pediatric oncologist. The National Cancer Advisory Board Members are appointed directly by the President, with input from the National Cancer Institute leadership.
