Current Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske was recently appointed to to the office of Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. His replacement has not yet been named.
We the undersigned ask that a qualified medical doctor be chosen as his replacement in order to facilitate the president's public health based approach to drug control policy. We ask that the administration specifically appoint Dr. Sanjay Gupta to this office as he is one of the most qualified and renowned medical doctors in the nation.
