Mr. Snowden has demonstrated selfless patriotism in his desire to protect the civil rights of the American public.
He has also demonstrated a clearer respect and understanding of the Constitution than the current NSA director, who believes it is legal to gather and store every American's email data without a warrant.
Since Americans do not want warrantless monitoring of all their phone calls, emails, texts and future digital communications, we call on the President to appoint a director who has demonstrated his dedication to the security of American rights, which is what makes this country great.
