Edward Snowden, the "whistleblower" who revealed that the National Security Agency has been conducting illegal and unConstitutional surveillance against millions of American citizens, by his actions has demonstrated an understanding of, and respect for, the Constitution of the United States, as well as a detailed understanding of the meaning and intent of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. He has also demonstrated the integrity and strength of character we must demand of anyone in high office.
Taken in total with his experience in the field of electronic intelligence gathering, this makes him as close to an ideal candidate as we can find to take the agency in hand and begin the process of reform that is so clearly and desperately needed.
