Appoint independent counsel to lead review of FBI report on Hillary Clinton's handling of classified information

Created by H.D. on June 30, 2016

We believe that a fair and just review of the imminent FBI report on handling of classified government information by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and aides is best served through the appointment of non-partisan, independent counsel to conduct that review and to recommend action(s), as deemed appropriate.

We believe that US Attorney General Loretta Lynch should recuse herself from this case as the "perfect storm" of personal and professional circumstance creates both the perception and potential for bias.

* Ms. Lynch was nominated by former Pres Bill Clinton as US Atty for the state of New York.
* Pres Obama endorsed Mrs. Clinton for the Presidency; submission of the FBI report to his Atty General remains pending.
* Atty Lynch recently met (socially) with Pres Clinton.
