Appoint Janet Yellin as the next Federal Reserve chairman.

President Obama should nominate Janet Yellin as the next Chairman, Federal Reserve Board.
She would be the first woman Chairman in the male-dominated world of the Federal Reserve.
She has the intellectual strength and practical experience in economic policy:
- Yellin currently serves as The Fed's Vice Chairwoman.
- Past President and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, (2004-2007)
-Professor Emerita at Berkeley's Haas School of Business,
-Head of the White House Council of Economic Advisors under President Bill Clinton.
As Fed Chair she will give more weight to joblessness than to inflation, which will promote a stronger domestic economy
Yellin, respected by Congress and even by her ideological foes, embodies great intellect, rational clarity and strong leadership.
