This petition is for all Americans, democrat and republican who would like to see this country reunited. With the toxic environment in Washington among members of congress, we feel it is essential that a key voice be appointed to the office of Secretary of State. We would like to see President Obama ask Jon Huntsman to become his secretary of state. We believe this gesture would go along way toward bridging the gap between the 2 parties. We believe Jon Huntsman is more than qualified for this job and has a history of uniting people. He would be a great addition to this administration. He is well respected throughout the world, and would represent our country well in dealings with foreign nations. He also has a very good working relationship with President Obama.
