Appoint Jonathan Turley to the Supreme Court to replace Scalia.

Created by R.B. on February 13, 2016

President Obama has an opportunity to help guide the direction of the Supreme Court for the next couple of decades. The two appointments that he has made so far, even to replace the great John Paul Stevens with, have been moderates. On the other hand, when Thurgood Marshall died, the Republican administration at that time used that opportunity to appoint the very conservative Clarence Thomas.

While the conservatives and Republicans will demand that Scalia will be replaced with another conservative voice on the Court, Obama should use this opportunity to put a renowned legal scholar on the Court. I ask the President to nominate Johnathan Turley to replace Scalia.
