Appoint Lawrence Lessig to the vacant Supreme Court position.

Created by M.F. on February 14, 2016

With the regrettable passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a position has opened up on the Supreme Court. We ask that President Obama appoint Lawrence Lessig to this vacant position.

Due to party divides between a Democratic executive branch and a Republican legislative branch, it will be difficult to find someone to put on the seat that everyone can agree on.

Lawrence Lessig is a well known law professor and and activist for campaign finance reform. As a former colleague of President Obama, as well as a former law clerk for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, he would be the perfect candidate for appointment to this prestigious office.
