This petitions website is an excellent idea, however it has become almost useless because it is regularly swamped with petitions for unconstitutional initiatives, racist petitions, and things that are well beyond the President's capabilities. A simple high school Civics course would seemingly answer nearly half of any given petitions on any given day, and it is drawing attention away from more important, useful petitions.
Good petitions are harder to find; you have to dig underneath all the junk petitions to get to them, which means they get less notice and less signatures. It's ridiculous!
Please appoint someone to oversee this petitions website so that it may be a more useful means of allowing the people to communicate and bring attention to the issues that matter to us.
