Whereas ALT has demonstrated years of unparalleled style leadership in his tenure as an editor at Vogue, and
Whereas he has served ably and honorably as a gown czar and diplomatic liaison between the White House and the fashion community, and
Whereas his inspiring personal story is a point of pride for all North Carolinians, or at least most, or many, and
Whereas he knows absolutely everyone, and
Whereas they know him, especially in Paris, and
Whereas he demonstrated sound and true judgment in his years on America's Next Top Model, and
Whereas the disastrous British Invasion in Cycle 18 would never have happened on his watch,
we the undersigned do humbly petition President Obama to nominate the Mr. André Leon Talley as US Ambassador, either to a very chic country, or to the world at large.
