A panel of experts on tick-born infections including people with them (e.g., Amy Tan, Daryl Hall, Elena Delle Donne) and prominent doctors/researchers (e.g., Richard Horowitz, Igenex) is desperately needed as Lyme and associated disease are reaching epidemic proportions while the CDC does little but propagate the same story it has told for years about the "short course of antibiotics" being curative. This intractability is scandalous and probably profit driven by various people involved in health care, with financial stakes in the status quo.
A path forward to successful treatment of these illnesses must be found: these drain individuals, families and even the country itself of precious human resources lost to crippling symptoms and the dismissals of these problems.
The time is NOW.
