Appoint Paul Krugman as Secretary of the Treasury

Created by B.A. on November 14, 2012

We urge President Obama to appoint Nobel prize-winning economist Paul Robin Krugman as the United States Secretary of the Treasury. Mr. Krugman's economic credentials unquestionably qualify him for the position, and of the possible names mentioned for the position, he is one of the only candidate who has never worked for one of the major banks. He is an expert who would not be beholden to the banking industry for a job following his appointment. He brings the sort of hope and change to the table that the Obama campaign has promised us.
