After four year of Ken Salazar and his anti- wilderness leanings coupled with the absolute debacle of Interior Secretaries under George W Bush it is time to appoint someone to this most critical post who will work in accordance with both natural and governmental laws to ensure that our public lands are managed with the interests of every single american citizen in mind instead of bowing down to King Dollar and the extraction lobby. Each one of us owns our public lands and for too long out interests have been swept aside in favor of money and power to the few.
