Following the disastrous results of this recent election, it is clear change is needed. If the Democratic Party is to maintain its relevance moving forward, it must once more embrace its populist, progressive roots. We are sick of party corruption, spineless leaders and corporatist candidates who do NOT accurately and faithfully represent us.
To this end we, the people, strongly urge President Obama to appoint Senator Bernie Sanders as head of the DNC. We demand that he grant true progressive politicians such as Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren the opportunity to enact the changes this party desperately needs. Finally, we ask that President Obama publicly apologize for his Party's actions in sabotaging Bernie Sanders' attempt to seek the Democratic presidential nomination.
