The US govt announced that they are sending $10M aid to help Nepalese earthquake victims. If the US sends the money to the PM relief fund or to any other funds overseen by the Nepalese govt, we believe all the aid money will never reach the needy citizens of Nepal. We have seen this time & again in Nepal where funds get misused & nobody is held accountable. We believe the best way to handle this would be that the US government appointments someone accountable to both the US govt & the citizens of Nepal that the funds are used in the way it was intended, i.e. exactly according to plan with full transparency. This way we would know the US govt aid isn't misused and the Nepalese people get the necessary aid needed. Our love for both countries has forced to file this petition.
