It is becoming increasingly clear that Russia influenced the U.S. presidential election in favor of President-elect Donald Trump. It is also known that a Bi-Partisan "gang of 12" was notified of Russia's involvement in September of 2016 but following the lead of majority leader Mitch McConnell the "gang" failed to follow through with serious investigation or reporting to the American public.
There is too much partisanship within Congress at this time to trust it to honestly investigate this matter of national security.
