Appoint a special investigator to investigate the IRS tax exemption scandal.

Created by J.P. on May 26, 2013

The appointment of a special investigator is needed to resolve the IRS scandal which has recently come to light. The news coming out indicates (depending on your view) either an overworked unit or a malevolent attempt by the IRS to hamstring conservatives. Due to the conflict of interest inherent in any federal agency running an investigation of the IRS and the Whitehouse, only a special investigator can credibly resolve the truth of the matter.

The arbitrary enforcement by the IRS stands in stark contrast to the fundamental American ideal of equality. The biased actions, whether intentional or not, are inexcusable in an organization which claims to serve the people. Only a special investigator will have the autonomy needed to restore credibility to the IRS and the administration.
