Appoint a Special Prosecutor to determine if any laws were broken in Solyndra scandal.

Created by R.K. on September 26, 2011

The government has squandered 1/2 Billion dollars on loan guarantees to failed solar panel manufacturer, Solyndra. Financial backers behind Solyndra have close ties to the Obama White House and election campaign. Pressure was put on government oversight agencies to hurry and approve the loans so that the VP could schedule a press conference and photo op. The Administration renegotiated the loan, putting taxpayers at a position of disadvantage behind private investors, contrary to federal law. The American People demand to know whether laws were broken and whether administration officials participated in an organized cover-up of their misdeeds. The administration has shown no interest or ability to investigate itself. We need a Special Prosecutor.
