Russia has stated it was in contact with the Trump campaign during the election. There was server activity between a Russian bank server and a Trump server. Mr. Trump publicly called for Russia to hack the opposition's email and they did. He essentially invited Mr. Putin to invade Europe by announcing during the campaign that the US would not necessarily support its NATO allies if Russia did so.Depending on the nature of the private communications, Mr. Trump may have violated USC 18 section 2383 et seq. If so, he can not take office and may be subject to 10 years or more in prison. We do not know the nature of the private communications. There is probable cause for a warrant to compel the campaign to turn over the content of the communications. A special prosecutor is needed NOW.
