Understanding the tragic events that occurred at the American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi Libya have been fully investigated by the Department of Defense; U.S. State Department and several congressional committees, the activities of the current Select House Committee on Benghazi have appeared unnecessary and redundant but not necessarily illegal.
Sadly the recent public comments by Representative Kevin McCarthy more than imply this committee’s actual function is politically motivated. To reaffirm public trust we request the U.S. Attorney General appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate and determine if Representatives Trey Gowdy; Kevin McCarthy or any other unnamed individual may have colluded to misuse public resources and authority in reference to the Benghazi investigation.
