Appoint Specially Trained Undercover Security Guards in Schools Nationwide

There is another petition requesting that we appoint armed security guards to protect our schools, but it leaves out a very important key point.
It's crucial that our children and young adults do not feel like prisoners in their schools. Having uniformed guards who are open carrying firearms will enforce a feeling of being contained rather than free to learn. It is equally important that these guards are trained to handle violent situations with extreme care to avoid using excessive force in situations that can be averted.
We need specially trained guards to defend our schools who are skilled in integrating into the school and trained to handle situations the way a parent would, rather than through intimidation or fear.
