Recently, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) made several rulings that effectively handed the reigns of our government over to the highest bidder.
This is wrong.
We request that President Obama name two new Justices to the SCOTUS in order to balance the Court in favor of the Common Person.
There is no Constitutional limit that sets the number of Justices at nine. There is no barrier (beyond the Senate) to this act. The President has the Constitutional authority to do this and the ethical and legal responsibility to protect our Democracy from devolving into a plutocracy.
