Army Captain Will Swenson worked with Medal of Honor winner Dakota Myer to save Marines and Afghans in a 6 hour ambush. The Army has "lost" and ignored the Medal of Honor for Captain Swenson because he criticized the atrocious performance of Army officers in the rear at a TOC. Since then, the Army has dragged its feet.
Now the award is stuck in some cubbyhole in the White House. Now the IG is conducting a preliminary investigation to something related to this particular award. I am amazed that the White House staff has sat on this award. Nothing should further delay this award and President Obama should live up to our expectations, cut through any further obstacles and "Let right be done!"
