Approve the Bill H.R.3799, otherwise known as the Hearing Protection Act of 2015. This bill will remove the unconstitutional $200 tax stamp required by the NFA in order to purchase a suppressor for a firearm. Contrary to what Hollywood wants you to believe, these suppressors do not “silence” firearms, but would instead lower the decibels to a safer range. This would help prevent hearing loss as well as reduce noise pollution.
There are no reasons this bill shouldn’t be approved, a person cannot do anything with a suppressor without a firearm, something they would need to undergo a background check in order to purchase!
