The Obama administration should approve the Keystone XL pipeline project. All energy production creates risk; we cannot completely avoid risk. Wind generation kills thousands of birds every year, for example. This project will allow us to obtain more of our energy from a friendly nation - Canada - and thus less on unfriendly nations like Venezuela. And it would create thousands of good-paying jobs.
No, I do not work in the energy industry. I just want us to get our energy closer to home, from friendly countries, while creating jobs.
