The Keystone Xl pipeline should be approved for the following reasons:
America is not getting off of fossil fuels anytime soon, no matter how many windmills are put up or solar panels are put on houses.
It will create jobs.
It will lower our dependence on foreign oil.
It will give the refiners more business thus leading to the energy sectors increased prosperity,
Studies have shown that no detrimental environmental impact will occur with the development of this pipeline.
A pipeline is a more secure way of transporting oil as opposed to train or tanker.
These are the reasons why this pipeline should be approved and the Canadian government has been patient long enough. It is time to approve the pipeline.
