We call on President Obama to approve the Keystone XL pipeline construction. This will create jobs during the construction phase as well as contribute to our nations energy independence. Canada is going to produce the oil and it will be sold to someone. The Presidents own administration has proven the pipeline has the least effect on the environment, and if the US does not get moving on this project Canada will find another buyer for their oil. If that happens the US may well end up purchasing the oil on the international market at a higher price, as well as loose the job creation and financial benefit of the pipeline and oil refining.
