After it's fifth and final environmental report released January 31st, 2014, the State Department has found that the Keystone XL Pipeline project is not likely to alter global greenhouse gas emissions. The President stated in his June 25th, 2013 speech at Georgetown University that he would approve the project "only if it does not significantly exacerbate the problem of carbon pollution", a statement that this EIS confirms. This is a shovel ready project that will not cost tax payers a dime, and will put tens of thousands Americans to work. It's time for the President to put down the partisan politics, finger pointing, and stall tactics, and pick up the pen he's been talking so much about to approve this project and start putting the United States back to work!
