The Keystone XL Pipeline linking Alberta to the United States will be better for the environment, as oil tankers currently used to transport oil into the United States could sink and cause enormous damage to the Pacific marine coastline. It will also provide the US economy with 20000 new jobs in the energy sector. The oil is coming from Canada, which is a trusted partner and not the Middle East.
