The Constitution of the USA states that "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."
It is clearly unconstitutional to continue to prohibit or deny the right to vote to all US Citizens that reside in Puerto Rico only due to their residential condition thus placing a bigger value on their place of residence than that of their Constitutional Rights as Citizens of the United States of America.
We request that the Obama administration present legislation to correct voting laws to allow any and all legal Citizens of the USA that were born and or reside in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to vote in Presidential elections.
