The process had begun to include the country of Brazil in the United States Visa Waiver Program. It never gets finished due to bureaucratic blocks for the approval process. Brazil is an important ally and trading partner with the United States. It is not a terrorist state and has improved their Passports to the Electronically read version that the United States required.
The Visa process in Brazil is complicated and unfair to travelers due to strict enforcement of rules. There should be no restrictions for Brazilians to travel to the United States for tourism or schooling.
Brazil follows our lead... now lead by example and change the rules to allow an ally and friend in the western Hemisphere to travel freely.
