Approve the XL pipeline and charge 10 cents tax for every gallon that passes through it.

As owners of the land on which the pipeline will be built we should benefit appropriately from this opportunity. Valuation on such an opportunity should be handled the same way as it would by a private equity or business entity. If our land is going to reap benefits to private businesses, then we should also profit proportionally. A 10 cent a gallon surcharge for the privilege of using our land is fair and needed.
