As an babysitter I watch multiple kids a week for hours. Almost all of these children LOVE playing mobile apps which is fine as long as these apps are true to their age rating. Recently, many of these apps have added some sort of gambling aspect to them where users can pay "gems" or other items to get a different, "random" item. It usually has a slot machine like animation which is exactly what casinos have. Multiple times children I am babysitting have come up to me showing me this "crazy" new item they got by spending "gems" to open the games version of a "slot machine". I asked multiple children about this and they do not seem to realize that they are throwing away all their items and sometimes even real money.
These games are addicting children to gambling and need a 18+ rating.
