An all out ban will help to keep the the AR-15 out of the hands of deranged and individuals who are motivated by hate to kill masses of people. The AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifle seems to be the weapon of choice for mass killers. The murderers in Newton, Connecticut, San Bernardino, California and Aurora, Colorado used the AR-15 to kill. We need Congress to act to prevent future tragedies like the most recent one in Orlando. We must ban these lethal weapons and keep them out of the hands of individuals, motivated by hate and racism, who intend to harm innocent people. Gun laws must reflect the times in which we live. These are dangerous times. We live with dangerous individuals. We must make it as difficult as possible for these dangerous individuals to obtain dangerous weapons
