We the free people of Arizona acting as the free sovereign individuals that we are petition the government of The United States of America for Secession.
Our list of grievances are large and too many to name entirely, but include trespassing by the Federal Government on our time, money, property and bodies. We do not want your cradle-to-grave Welfare State any longer.
We have granted you everything you demanded of us, we who had always been the givers, but have only now understood it. We have no demands to present to you, no terms to bargain about, no compromise to reach. You have nothing to offer us. We do not need you.
We claim this right because we are free and sovereign people, and these rights do not come from any deity or government.
